Privacy

The short version

We collect as little as we can. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

What we collect

• Your Minecraft username. You type it at checkout so we know which account gets the rank.
• Purchase records. We keep a record of what was bought, when, and for which username, so we can give, move or remove ranks and answer billing questions.
• Server data. When you play on PancakeSMP, the server stores your username, account ID, IP address, a hashed password if you register one, chat messages, and gameplay data such as your balance and inventory. This is needed to run the server, stop cheating and enforce bans.
• Website logs. Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested.

What we never see

Payments are handled by Polar. Your card number and billing details go to Polar and their payment providers. They are never sent to us or stored by us. Polar may share your email address and country with us as part of the order so we can help with billing questions.

Who else handles your data

• Polar processes payments and subscriptions.
• Cloudflare sits in front of this website and protects it from attacks.
• TCPShield protects the Minecraft server from attacks.
• Discord, if you choose to join our Discord or link your account.

Cookies

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell real visitors from bots.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept for as long as we need them for billing and tax reasons. Server data is kept while your account exists. Web logs are rotated regularly.

Your choices

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Open a ticket in our Discord. Some records, such as ban history and payment records, may need to be kept to protect the server or to meet legal duties.

Children

We do not knowingly collect more than a username and gameplay data from anyone. If you are under 13, do not buy anything or send us personal information without a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
